If you own a Moto smartphone and have been expecting Motorola to announce the phones that'll be getting the Oreo update, then the company has officially published a list of devices that will receive Android 8 Oreo update.

We have gathered all the phones on the Motorola Oreo Update list for you. Check out the list below if your device is listed.

These are the Motorola phones that will be updated to Android 8 Oreo:

• Moto Z,

• Moto Z Droid,

• Moto Z Force Droid,

• Moto Z Play,

• Moto Z Play Droid,

• Moto Z2 Play,

• Moto Z2 Force Edition,

• Moto X4,

• Moto G5,

• Moto G5 Plus,

• Moto G5S,

• Moto G5S Plus.

• Moto G4 series owners must be disappointed. 

 Seriously, there is no Oreo love for owners of budget Motorola smartphones. Same for Moto C and Moto E series devices as well. Budget devices get no love.

When Is The Moto Oreo Update Scheduled?

Motorola hasn't given a specific date on when the update will start rolling out to the listed devices, but says the update will start rolling out “this fall”. That sounds like anytime from September 2017.
