The Loewe bild 9 has only been seen in concept form until now, but thankfully the strikingly angular design has made it all the way into production.
Loewe has carved itself a pretty niche by making premium, design-led TVs, and this new OLED model is aesthetically its most ambitious yet.
The jaw-dropping styling, by renowned designer Bodo Sperlein, is inspired by the Bauhaus and Art Deco movements of the 1920s, and has been applied to three mounting options: a table stand, wall mount and floor stand, each available in either amber gold or graphite grey.
Switch the bild 9 on and an integrated 120W six-speaker soundbar glides neatly into view, visually reassuring you that, yes, you have spent a shedload of money on a TV that's as much a lifestyle choice as something on which to watch documentaries about Walter Gropius (or, y'know, The Avengers and that).
But if that isn't enough audio for you, Loewe has the matching klang 9 speakers, which each contain a dedicated subwoofer, arriving in August for £4990 per pair.
The Loewe bild 9 is on sale now for £6990 (55-inch) and £8990 (65-inch). Hopefully we'll have a full review of it in the coming months.always check in for your updates on The Loewe bild 9.
