After releasing Sharp 507SH last year in the Japanese market, the company has yet launched another device in the Japanese market, called Sharp X1. Sharp X1 is an Android One smartphone that runs fully on Android 7.1.1 Nougat which is powered by Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 chipset.

Sharp X1 has three water and dust resistant ratings – IP6X, IPX5, and IPX8, plus digital TV and FeliCa. Felica is an early form of NFC developed by Sony and is used for contactless card payments.
