The latest update to the world’s most popular messaging service is only available to those with an iPhone, however.
That’s because the service has introduced new Siri-compatible skills.
Now, for the first time, Siri can read your messages for you.
As well as being limited exclusively to iPhone owners, the update requires your Apple-branded handset to be running the latest iOS 10.3 operating system.
“You can now ask Siri to read your latest messages,” the WhatsApp update notes state.
To make use of the feature, you’ll need to simply state: “Hey Siri, read my last WhatsApp message.”
As well as proving a fun, handy addition, the Siri-friendly WhatsApp skills will be a great tool for drivers who can now enjoy hands-free messaging.
Siri’s WhatsApp support isn’t limited to a one-way relationship either.
Users can also ask Siri to transcribe their replies, letting them enjoy extensive back and forth WhatsApp messaging sessions without lifting a finger.
In recent weeks, the messenger service has added hundreds of new emoji and given users the ability to record and post Snapchat-style video statuses.
It’s not all good news though, the app has also sought permission to share user details with parent company Facebook to better target you with ads.
WhatsApp is the word’s most popular messaging service with well over 1 billion active monthly users.
