A 48-year-old suspected cybercriminal has been denied bail by the Specialised Commercial Crime Unit Court in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Mohamed Luqman allegedly stole one-point-six million rand by hacking a church's account in Mokopane.
His accomplice and girlfriend has also been denied bail. The two will appear again in court on Tuesday next week.
Hawks spokesperson Matimba Maluleke says investigations are continuing.
